We’ve always had a reputation for being exceptionally clean, but COVID-19 has made it necessary to change how we all conduct ourselves in the club. Here are the latest guidelines we'll be following and will be adjusted as needed.
Trainers
Will be checked for fever at the beginning of every shift
Will wear a mask when conversing and training with members
Will ensure no more than 20 people are in the club at one time
Will use disinfecting wipes between classes, on equipment, on handles, light switches, and equipment frequently during the day
Will maintain reduced class sizes to provide enough room for social distancing and assigned equipment to reduce exposure.
Frequent restroom disinfecting
Showers will be disinfected after each use
Electrostatic disinfecting
Members
Will use a mask when in the facility, but one is not required while exercising, per Bluffton Emergency Ordinance 2020-10
Will not attend the club if ill
Will disinfect hands at designated stations after arriving and before leaving
Will be checked for a fever upon entry by personnel with a no-contact thermal thermometer
Will maintain social distancing by leaving at least six feet between others and using every other piece of eGym equipment
Continue to clean touch points on all equipment after use
Use a disinfectant wipe to cover finger when using touch screens, lockers and door handles
Will require personal gloves when participating in boxing classes.
Will notify the club if they test positive and recently accessed the gym.
Physical Changes
Hands-free front door opener
Towels will are enclosed in washable bags
Equipment spacing has been increased for all cardio equipment to allow for the proper 6 foot spacing
Water fountain for bottle filling only, no directly drinking from the fountain

Electrostatic disinfecting quickly coats hidden and hard to reach surfaces that many times will get missed by conventional spraying.
