My goals for health and fitness are to get the greatest improvements in the least amount of time, and to keep it as simple as possible. As a result, my wife Mary Ann and I created the eFitClub. I am here to help you discover your fitness journey and to show you how easy it can be to “change your fitness, change your life”. From exercise to nutrition, making a few minor changes can have a significant impact on your life. Every small change you make day to day will have a compound effect and before you know it, you’ve dramatically improved your health and fitness!
My techniques for personal training include static and dynamic postural assessments, and a functional motion screen for each client. While building muscle is always a primary focus, ensuring proper muscle balance and postural alignment will help to keep the body pain-free as we age.

When you think of personal trainers, you probably imagine drill sergeants or arm-waving-sweat-demanding motivators. Now, you’ll get the motivation-part with Mike — and he’ll even have a clipboard — but he doesn’t come at you with fire in his eyes or loudly barked words of inspiration. Instead, you get a warm, measured, purposeful, and highly accountable approach to being the best possible version of yourself.
Having been a Personal Trainer for over 20 years, Mike’s career began with a YMCA certification. He progressed to 24 Hour Fitness and Burbank Athletic Club in Los Angeles, Head Trainer/Fitness Manager at the University of Louisville, and Personal Trainer at Performance private training. Most recently, in 2019, he and his team opened GRIT Fitness in Louisville, a private/semi private training facility still in operation today. He is A.C.E., ISSA, PPSC, and Precision Nutrition Certified with a B.S. in Exercise Science.
Mike’s own personal growth started as a chubby gamer to a distance runner, 225 lb bodybuilder, to now maintaining strength, flexibility and adaptability to life in his middle years. All of these experiences, both personal and professional, enable him to help a wide variety of clients achieve their own successes, including Summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, competing in triathlons, placing in bodybuilding shows, and losing 70lbs in 1 year.

I specialize in weight loss, functional fitness, muscular strength/endurance, sports related and mind/body training. At eFitClub we have the tools you need to succeed and my extensive experience will allow me to coach you in attaining ALL of your goals.

Augusta brings a unique background to our team as a former professional mixed martial artist, boasting an unbeaten record in the ring. He possesses the skills and knowledge to offer boxing training, whether you're looking to learn self-defense techniques or seeking a new method to enhance your physical fitness.
In 2014, August Hathaway made a significant contribution to the fitness world with the publication of "Special Forces Fitness Training: Gym-Free Workouts to Build Muscle and Get in Elite Shape." This book offers readers a comprehensive guide to achieving peak physical condition, drawing on techniques used in military training.
